This Privacy Policy explains how Alexa Bodnar Photography ("I", "me", "my"), based in Chanhassen, Minnesota, collects, uses and protects your information when you visit alexabodnar.photography (the "Site"), book a session or request a consultation.

Information I collect

Information you provide:

  • Name, email address and phone number;
  • Booking and consultation details, such as the selected service, date, and your answers to the questions in the booking or consultation form;
  • Any messages you send me.

Information collected automatically:

  • Basic technical data, such as your IP address and browser type, which the Site's servers record to operate and secure the Site;
  • If you make a payment, device information collected by Stripe to process the payment and prevent fraud;
  • Only if you accept cookies: pages you visit and actions you take on the Site, device and browser information, and cookie or similar identifiers, collected through the Meta Pixel.

How I use your information

  • To schedule, confirm and manage your booking or consultation;
  • To communicate with you about your session, including confirmations and reminders;
  • To process payments;
  • To understand how the Site is used and to measure and improve my advertising;
  • To comply with legal obligations.

Cookies and the Meta Pixel

With your consent, the Site uses the Meta Pixel, a tool provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook and Instagram). The Meta Pixel uses cookies, web beacons and similar technologies to collect or receive information from the Site, such as the pages you visit, your IP address and browser information. Meta uses this information to provide measurement services and to show relevant ads to you on Facebook, Instagram and other sites. Third parties, including Meta, may use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies to collect or receive information from this Site and elsewhere on the internet and use that information to provide measurement services and target ads.

The Meta Pixel is loaded only after you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. If you click "Decline" or close the banner, it is not loaded. You can change your choice at any time via at the bottom of the Site.

Essential browser storage is used to remember your cookie choice and to keep booking and payment features working. It is not used for advertising.

Sharing your information

I do not sell your personal information. I share it only with service providers that help me run my business, and only as needed:

  • Stripe, to process payments securely (I never see or store your full card details);
  • Email and hosting providers, to send you messages and operate the Site;
  • Telegram, which I use to receive notifications about new bookings and consultation requests;
  • Meta, as described above, if you accept cookies;
  • Authorities, when required by law.

Data retention and security

I keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but I work to keep your data safe.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may withdraw your consent to cookies at any time. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last changed.
